What’s included:

Subject Leader Network Meetings

Termly Subject Leader Network Meetings for English and mathematics (up to 3 staff per school).
These are designed to ensure that subject leaders have the latest information in order to support their strategic role in schools.

The agenda for the twilight network meetings will include relevant aspects from the following:

  • updates from Ofsted on inspection, curriculum, current research and leadership
  • summaries of DfE and STA documentation
  • national and local priorities in English and mathematics
  • details of local and national projects
  • updates of academic research
  • information on resources to enhance learning and support teaching
  • opportunities to share best practice and case studies
  • details of forthcoming continuous professional development

 

Delegate bookings for subject leader network meetings must be made through the Click4Teaching website course booking system at least seven working days prior to the meeting. This will ensure that the venue and refreshments are organised to meet the requirements.
In the event that delegates are unable to attend, access to the subject leader network meeting materials will be available via the school’s login to the Click4Teaching website.
Click4Teaching would be grateful for any notifications of cancelled places up to, and including, the day of the meeting, otherwise a refreshment charge may be incurred.

SSP Consultancy Sessions

As part of the Click4Teaching English & Mathematics Subject Support Package one English consultancy session and one mathematics consultancy session is included.
Consultancies can be used for a.m., p.m., or twilight sessions, or as part of a full day whereby the second part of the day is chargeable, as detailed in the terms and conditions.

Package consultancy sessions may be used for:

    • Staff meetings
    • Leadership subject specific support
      • Monitoring including books, lesson observation, learning walks
      • Data analysis and setting priorities
      • Evaluation
      • External validation
      • Moderation
      • Pre and post Ofsted Action planning
    • Individual teacher support, including NQTs and teaching assistants
      • Coaching for planning
      • Subject knowledge development
      • Pedagogical development
      • Lesson study models
    • Curriculum development (subject specific and cross curricular)
    • Package consultancy sessions can also be used as part of linked consultancy sessions (for example, a staff meeting, gap task, follow up staff meeting).
  • Wherever possible, SSP consultancy sessions (as part of the Click4Teaching English & Mathematics Subject Support 2019-20) will be booked as requested by the head teacher. However, in some circumstances it may not be always possible to guarantee the requested date. In the event that specific days or dates are unavailable, alternatives will be offered.
  • To support the school improvement priorities as determined by the Head teacher, all SSP consultancy sessions can be used from September 2019 and must be used by the end of July 2020. They cannot be carried forward into the next academic year.
  • SSP consultancy sessions may be used for up to three consecutive hours, for example: morning (09:00-12:00), afternoon (13:00-16:00), or a twilight (15:15-17:00).
  • Twilight whole staff training sessions are classed as one session to reflect preparation time as well as the actual delivery.
  • SSP consultancy sessions within the Click4Teaching English & Mathematics Subject Support Package 2019-20 must be used for one English and one mathematics session.
  • In the event of a booked SSP consultancy session being cancelled by either party, Click 4 Teaching will offer a viable alternative session.
  • Package consultancy sessions are not valid for a ½ PD Day session only.
  • Package consultancy sessions can only by delivered to the subscribing school and cannot be delivered to a cluster or a group of schools.
  • Subscribing schools should ensure that a suitable space is provided that is appropriate to the nature of the consultancy.
  • Click4Teaching consultants will comply with the school’s safeguarding policies and procedures and adhere to the Click4Teaching Code of Conduct.
Priority email or telephone access for advice or support

Subscribing schools will be able to contact Chris or Kate for advice and support free of charge.

Click 4Teaching will respond to any email or telephone request within a reasonable timescale, usually within 24 hours.

Access to the Click4Teaching website

Click4Teaching will provide subscribing schools with a login for access to the restricted members’ area which will be valid for 12 months.

Subscribing schools agree not to share login details or resources with non-subscribing schools.
Subscribing schools agree to receive emails for marketing purposes such as newsletters, special offers and new courses.
By agreeing to the Click4Teaching Subject Support Package, we will keep business contact details that are supplied by the school. This data will not be passed on or sold to any third parties.

Information sharing and data protection
Information sharing and data protection
The Data Protection Act 1998 (DPA 1998) & the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) which replaces the DPA from May 25th 2018 establishes a framework of rights and duties which makes personal information safe. Personal information is information about a living individual, who can be identified from the information.
The consultants, Chris Ogden Education Ltd and Kate Burton Mathematics Ltd, are committed to protecting the privacy of individuals and handle all personal information in a manner that complies with the DPA 1998 & the GDPR 2018.

School data
If presented with school data or performance information, the consultant will behave with integrity and understanding around the sensitivity of such information.
In order to maximise the support, the school agrees that the consultants may be shown key data including:

  • IDSR
  • End of Key Stage outcomes including EYFS, Phonics screening check, multiplication check data (voluntary 2019), KS1 and KS2.
  • Internal tracking or assessment data

Any data shared with the consultant will remain confidential and will not be passed on to any other party without the express permission of the head teacher.
